Well, that's not me, that's my newest grandson, Easton .  He's much cuter than I am anyway.

Me, I'm  a former newspaper editor, writer and columnist and grew up in a small Upper Michigan town much like the one depicted in The Last Homecoming.  I live now in Florida with my wife, Mary Ellen; we have three grown sons and six grandchildren spread around the country.  My first novel, Godspeed: A Love Story, explored an intriguing question:  How can a lie be wrong when it makes so many people feel so good?
